Author Biography

Joelle Jay is a musician, designer, and content creator. Alongside her long-time collaborator, Robin, she launched TheCedLife, a social media sensation known for creating dog meals so irresistible that even humans are jealous. In its first year, TheCedLife garnered over 200 million views. After successfully self-publishing an ebook, The Dog’s Table marks her debut full-length print book. Joelle also serves as cofounder and creative lead of Precious Creatures Co.

Born in Hong Kong to an American father and a Chinese mother, Joelle spent her formative years between Shanghai, China, and Kansas City, Missouri, which has given her a unique cross-cultural perspective.

Robin A. Young is a technologist, researcher, and content creator. As TheCedLife’s audience expanded, Robin turned his focus to the science of dog nutrition and health. He now leads the Precious Kitchen newsletter, one of the top-selling publications on Substack, and cofounded Precious Creatures Co., where he heads product development.

In addition to his work in canine health, Robin’s expertise in AI, software, and human longevity has been featured in CNN, BBC, and the Wall Street Journal. Originally from Seattle, Washington, he has spent the last 20 years living across Asia, Europe, and the United States.
